Art paper

While you can sometimes make do with inexpensive office paper, art paper has a different feel and texture?definitely worth the investment. Art paper will allow your drawings to last and also allows you more flexibility with different mediums. If you want to build up many layers of graphite, for example, there is no choice but to use good art paper.

For ink and watercolor it is often cheaper to buy art paper in large sheets. Then you can cut it up yourself. This also allows you the freedom to experiment with different size works of art.

For quality art paper invest in a carflute folder for transporting your drawings. This will prevent any acid from coming into contact with your art. Remember: sunlight, acidity from surrounding objects such as cardboard, and UV rays are all dangers a quality paper.
